Community Justice and Reentry Program

KJA Supporting Through 2025

On March 12th, KJA’s Kiisha Jennings toured the Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Reentry Center in Baltimore, MD.

The VOA Reentry Program is designed to reduce the rate of recidivism through the provision of temporary housing and person-centered services to adult men and women referred by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and U.S. Pretrial Services.

There’s a strong focus on family, work development, training, and personal improvement. These services not only reduce recidivism, but inspire and empower individuals to reenter society and return to their families.
